The former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, said that social dialogue has been completely absent from the government’s side.
He says that above all, a solution must be found for students to return to school.
“There is agreement that the demands of the union are legitimate, due to the economic situation and because the Law on Wages has been delayed too much”, says Hoti on “RTK Prime”.
According to him, this bill has been delayed a lot because, in the summer of 2020, the Constitutional Court has given its verdict.
“And in 2021, it has been worked on, but so far it has not been discussed”, says Hoti.
“Let’s say that the law comes at the end of October, but it is unlikely to be approved within this year”, recalls Hoti, who was once the Minister of Finance, in the government led by Isa Mustafa.
“But even if this draft law comes, it is impossible to budget for 2023, because the budget must be submitted to the Assembly by October 30”.
