KOSTT, through an explanation for the media, has said that the chairman of the Board of Directors of this company has never stated that Kosovo has bought energy from Serbia or Serbian companies.
“On this occasion, we clarify that in the question of MP Mr. Ferat Shala regarding the purchase of electricity to cover technical losses, as well as about the companies from which the purchases were made, Mr. Mehmeti cited the list of commercial parties with which KOSTT there is a Framework Agreement for participation in the auctions for the purchase of energy announced by KOSTT, to cover technical losses. Mr. Mehmeti has never stated that Kosovo bought energy from Serbia or from Serbian companies, as is being reported by the media. There is no Serbian company in the reported list”, the communiqué states.
Earlier it was reported that in the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry regarding the management of the energy crisis by the Government of Kosovo, Mehmeti mentioned the company GEN, with an office in Belgrade, with which Kosovo traded energy. /Lajmi.net/
