The Speaker of the Assambly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, hosted the new ambassador of France in Kosovo, Olivier Guerot, in a meeting today, whereupon he congratulated him on taking office.

The Speaker thanked Ambassador Guerot for the support that France has offered to the Republic of Kosovo in all the processes of state building, development and the journey towards European integration.

“We expect from the French state the support of the liberalization of visas for the citizens of Kosovo since all the required criteria have already been met. And also the support for membership in the Council of Europe, the EU, NATO and other international organizations”, Konjufca emphasized in the meeting, the media office of the Assambly of Kosovo announced.

Further, according to the announcement, it is said that President Konjufca and Ambassador Guerot confirmed the commitment and readiness for further deepening of the cooperation between the two countries in spheres of common interest.
