The prices of derivatives in Kosovo have been marking movements recently. This is due to the price reduction in the international markets.
Fadil Berjani, the president of the Association of Oil Workers of Kosovo, says that even in Kosovo there is a continuing decline.
“From the beginning of this month until today, we have seen a drop in derivatives in the belt, and it is reflected in us as well. We have a decrease of 15 cents in derivatives,” Berjani told lajmi.net.
Berjani added that there have been complaints from gas station owners regarding the government’s decision.
“Complaints from gas stations have been very large. The reason for the government’s decision where the instruction is provided to be 2 cents in import and 12 cents in retail. This formula is not being implemented by the Ministry of Trade”.
Further, he says that most gas stations are operating at a loss or with 3 cents gross profit.
There is even a prayer for the Government:
“I am asking Prime Minister Kurti to take measures because many gas stations will be closed. Small and medium-sized companies cannot afford to survive with 3 cents of profit”.
Today, the ceiling price for a liter of diesel is 1.60 euros, for gasoline 1.34 euros and a liter of gas 0.75 euros. /Lajmi.net/
