The Government of Kosovo has confirmed the resignation of the Minister of Health, Rifat Latifi.

The government has also confirmed that Prime Minister, Albin Kurti met with the former minister.

“Prime Minister Kurti expressed gratitude for his work, commitment and contribution. He thanked Dr. Rifat who has not spared not only his knowledge and experience, but also his many international contacts, to help advance the sector and the health system in Kosovo”, said the Government.

The government added that PM Kurti wished Latif success and expressed willingness for “other ways of cooperation in the future”.
