The Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers has not responded to the invitation of the Committe for the Supervision of Public Finances to review the General Auditor Report on the Annual Financial Report of the Budget of the Republic of Kosovo for 2021.

The Chairperson of the Commission, Hykmete Bajrami said that despite the fact that 10 days ago Minister Murati confirmed his presence, today he it not there.

“There was no announcement from the staff of the Ministry of Finance. Today we saw an announcement in the media that Minister Murati is in Albania, namely in the port of Durrës.”, she said.

MP Bajrami said that the absence of Murati could be a scenario. After that, there was such a clash between the deputies of the majority.

Deputy Hajdar Beqa has said that it is meaningless to review the report without the presence of Minister Murati.

In this Commission, deputy Beqa raised the issue that in that report there are findings to be sent to the prosecutor’s office.

Deputy Mirlinda Sadiku explained Murati’s absence and called the statement of Bajrami, a prejudice.
