Lorik Cana nuk do të luajë më për Kombëtaren shqiptare.

Mbrojtësi ka konfirmuar pensionimin e tij nga futbolli ndërkombëtar.

Dhe, ai e ka zyrtarizuar atë nëpërmjet një postimi në rrjetin social Facebook, përcjell “Lajmi.net”.

Greetings to everyone,

as i announced after the EURO 2016, i decided to retire from the Albanian national team.

I thought it was the right time, after the greatest achievement in Albanian sport.

I feel honored by having represented my people and nation during all my career.

I just turned 33 and after 14 years in the highest level, i need some time of recovery to heal from injuries.

I decided this summer to reject all the proposals i recieved, to be able to come back fit and i hope ready for new achievements and projects.

I thank you all for your support,
