The Health Inspectorate has intensified inspections in the KKUK Clinics, general hospitals and primary services to see how health professionals are respecting their working hours, with an emphasis on those who work in the private sector as well.
From these inspections, some doctors of the Clinic of Urology, Abdominal Surgery and ENT were not found at the workplace during the working hours.
This was announced by the acting Chief Health Inspector, Shaban Osmanaj, who indicated that so far 36 clinics have been inspected for the presence of health professionals at work.
He even says that this action of inspections is continuing, while for all those who were not found at the workplace, measures will be taken in accordance with the law.
“Until now, 36 clinics have been inspected for the presence of health professionals at work. The inspections showed that at the time of the inspection some health professionals were not at the workplace. In most clinics, health professionals have been at the workplace, excluding three clinics, Abdominal Surgery, Urology Clinic and we are in case verification for the ENT clinic. For all these findings, appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with the legislation in force. Inspections will continue in other health institutions regardless of their nature of public and private financing”, said Osmanaj through a letter.
