Twenty-five of the European best slackliners compete until 11 September, on eight different lines ranging from 45 metres to 495 metres. Balancing on the 'slackline' is a training method for climbers to improve their equilibrium sense. To avoid the danger of falling down, the athletes are secured with a rope. EPA/LAURENT GILLIERON
